-Effective strategies for Practitioners to use in their lessons and to teach parents to promote learning for children with special needs

A three Day Mentoring program April 26-28, 2020 that includes:

  • -Required attendance at the public workshop day – April 26th **
  • -Two days of working with children which will include:
    • -movement lessons for the practitioners
    • -demonstration sessions of Carla working with children
    • -practitioners who are already experienced in working with children giving lessons to children with Carla and peers observing
    • -other practitioners who are interested in working more with children observing the lessons given by Carla and the experienced practitioners and participating in the discussions and questions

-Maximum number of experienced practitioners giving lessons will be 8

-Maximum number of observing practitioners will be 16.

Making Every Movement Count

-Effective strategies for Parents and Practitioners to promote learning for children with special needs beyond the limits that have been expected

One day public workshop on April 18, 2020 for parents, other family members and/or caregivers; Feldenkrais and/or Anat Baniel Method of NeuroMovement Practitioners; and other professionals involved with children who have special needs and/or who are stalled in their developmental learning. The workshop will include movement experiences, Power Point presentation, and live and/or video demonstration of my work with children, and Q & A.

Carla will share her unique perspective and experience from her 50 year professional history as a pediatric Physical Therapist which has been enriched and transformed by her training with Moshe Feldenkrais, Anat Baniel, Karel and Berta Bobath, and Magda Gerber.
